3. Self-Publishing with ALLi by The Alliance of Independent Authors

Founded by Irish poet Orna Ross, The Alliance of Independent Authors is a non-profit global membership association for self-publishing authors. This podcast is for writers who have published at least one book and need the support and inspiration to continue as an independent author.

Episodes on this podcast consist of interviews with industry experts, Q&As on self publishing and topics such as how to format your book and how to make a publishing plan for the year. One of my favorite episodes is Self Publishing Values: Exploring Craft, Engagement, and Volume Publishing for Authors – Advanced Self-Publishing Podcast With Orna Ross and Joanna Penn. This episode was an epiphany for me because it clarified the type of projects I want to work on and where I may be wasting valuable time doing activities that don’t match my personality or vision.
